Allowance for employers

 

The employer can receive a monthly financial contribution of €50 per leaver and an additional €100 per mentor. At the same time, the leaver can receive a flat-rate contribution of € 218.06 to cover the necessary costs associated with the placement.

Obligations of employers who employ Ukrainians

The military conflict in Ukraine has been going on for a long time and the employment of Ukrainians with temporary shelter has become a common practice. Employers who recruit employees from Ukraine face a number of obligations that evolve with the changing legislation.

The information card must be sent to the relevant employment office within seven working days of the employee's arrival. The same obligation applies when the employment relationship is terminated.

The employer is obliged to register the employee with the Social Insurance Institution through the Registration Letter of the Natural Person (RLFO), based on the birth number indicated in the temporary shelter document.

If a temporary shelter employee earns an income of at least the monthly minimum wage, the employer is required to register him/her with the relevant health insurance company within 8 working days of commencement of employment.

When applying for a temporary shelter document at the police station, we advise Ukrainian citizens to check all details carefully before leaving the office.
