Maintenance assistant

The employee in this position supports the technical team in maintaining, preparing and inspecting injection molds used in plastics manufacturing. They ensure that the molds are ready for the production process and are functioning properly, while adhering to safety and production standards.

Main work activities:

• assistance in cleaning, assembling and disassembling molds, tying, securing and safely lifting loads using lashing equipment,
• support in moving molds using a gantry crane,
• preparation and inspection of molds before plastic injection (lubrication, inspection of seals, visual inspection),
• recording the condition of molds and minor defects,
• assistance to technicians in preventive and regular maintenance of molds,
• cooperation in changing molds,
• use and knowledge of basic tools – gola sets, screwdrivers, wrenches and other common tools,
• compliance with OHS regulations and internal production guidelines,
• maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace and in the mold areas.

• experience with handling injection molds up to 40 tons in weight,
• license to operate binding equipment and a gantry crane is an advantage,
• technical thinking, precision and responsibility,
• technical skill and ability to work with hand and mechanical tools,
• basic knowledge of working with tools – gola sets, screwdrivers, wrenches and similar tools,
• willingness to work physically,
• ability to cooperate in a team and learn quickly,
• basic knowledge of the field of plastics production or injection molds and machines is an advantage,
• responsible approach to work and compliance with safety,
